An easy day today as we’re (me!) are starting to get tired. Unfortunately heidi has done a bit too much training and enjoys dragging me out of bed in the morning. The gite was packed with pilgrims from many different countries and our multi linguel host was run nearly losing her mind speaking in french, english, germab, dutch and norwegian.

It is a busy year for the gites, apparently once every five years or so they have a bumper crop of pilgrims and there is also a general trend of increasing numbers. One of the pilgrims staying at the gite left Le Puy with 100 other people, it’s becoming essential for us to book our accomodation the night before as most gites are full.
